Maggie & Oscar made it to Crail yesterday, stopping with a lovely DogFriendly member & tonight too! They are enjoying the picturesque views of the Fife coast. Thank you to Andrea from the Largo & Lundie CC who cycled with the duo on yesterday’s journey.
Maggie had a catch up with Lesley Dolphin last week, you can listen here.
A couple of local Fife newspapers have covered the Dog on Tour story – The Fife Free Press & The Courier
Maggie had a catch up with Stephen Salter this week too to discuss the next drop off point for Oscar’s food – another bag of Maintence from Salters Premium Dog Foods will be landing in Dundee by the end of the week!
Enjoy some more pictures below!
A mammoth day on Tuesday!
En route to Crail with Largo & Lundie CC
Oscar wearing his ‘ see ya Jimmy bunnet ‘ !
Are you coming ?!
Is there light at the end of the tunnel ?! – a particularly dark, cold, dank tunnel along the innocent railway cycle track on the way to the Forth Bridge
Crossing the River Crammond
First sight of the Forth Bridge
About to cross the Forth Bridge under leaden skies and strong winds – quite scary with the movement and vibration of the traffic and wind!
My two friends Iain and Marion who kindly and skilfully guided me along the cycle paths round the back of Edinburgh to the bridge – 20 miles !
Inchgarvie – 15th century castle beneath the Forth Bridge
With some cycling friends who joined me on the ride to Crail at Elie harbour
